Attendance

Regular attendance is important in helping pupils to achieve their full potential in school. When children attend school consistently, they are better able to keep up with lessons and build strong relationships with their teachers and classmates. Frequent absences can make it more difficult for pupils to stay connected with their learning. 

We encourage all families to support good attendance by ensuring that pupils arrive at school on time each day and attend regularly. A positive attendance record helps children develop good routines and a positive attitude towards learning. By working together, the school and families can help ensure that every pupil has the best possible opportunity to succeed.

There is a requirement that a report is submitted to Tusla when a child misses more than 20 school days.
