ICT

ICT plays an important role in supporting teaching and learning throughout the school. As a progressive school, we aim to integrate technology in meaningful ways that enhance pupils’ learning experiences and develop their digital skills.

Our pupils have access to a range of digital resources that are stored centrally and shared across classes. These include a suite  of iPads and Chromebooks which are used for research, project work, and digital learning activities. Younger pupils are introduced to basic coding and computational thinking through the use of Beebots - allowing them to explore problem solving, and logical thinking in a fun way.

Each classroom is also equipped with an interactive whiteboard which teachers use these to display content and encourage whole-class participation. Through the thoughtful use of ICT, we aim to support pupils in becoming confident and capable users of technology.

We also utilise the Google Classroom platform. This platform allows teachers to share resources, assign work, and provide feedback. It helps pupils to organise their work digitally and supports collaboration between teachers and pupils.
