We have a long-standing tradition of excellence in science, proudly participating in the Science Foundation Ireland Curious Minds Awards (formerly Discover Primary Science and Maths Award) for over 20 years. Our pupils enjoy engaging, hands-on science lessons and practical mathematical trails that encourage creativity and problem-solving.

Technology is seamlessly integrated into everyday learning. Students regularly use iPads and Chromebooks in timetabled lessons, enabling interactive learning and digital literacy skills that prepare them for the modern world. Senior classes take their skills further by participating in robotics competitions and have partaken in Microsoft’s Dreamspace Initiative. These experiences give students real-world experience of coding and logical reasoning.

We celebrate STEM throughout the year with events such as Engineers Week, Maths Week, and Science Week, creating opportunities for all pupils to engage with the wider scientific community.
